PRESS RELEASE:
John Lewis – Newcastle Herald Weekender
Matt Burton and his team made this appealing youngster from grapes bought in from Mount View vineyasrd and it won a GOLD in the 2009 Semillon class at the Hunter Valley Wine Show. It has kiwifruit scents. Crisp grapefruit flavour shows on the front of the palate and green apple peel and nascent honey characters come through on the middle palate. The finish has flinty acid.
Nick Stock – 2010 Penguin Wine Guide
"This smells super-fine with lemongrass aromas, really breezy and fresh. The palate has a bright, crisp appeal, showing dry lemon pith flavour and taking a chalky turn through the finish." 93 Points 4 ½ Stars
